Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses in the Governmentof India
Medical
& Dental Colleges of Assam for the session 2024
This
is for information of all concerned candidates who appeared the NEET- UG-2024
and are eligible as per "The Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of
Assam (Regulation of Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses) Rules 2017 (Amended
upto date) for admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses in the Government
Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for the session 2024 under Assam State
quota seats:

Candidates who want to change their category, can now apply in a prescribed
format (which will be available in the official website of this Directorate www.dme.assam.gov.in
from 6th June, 2024), along with the supporting documents to the office of the
undersigned (2nd floor, Room No. 5) on or before 14th June, 2024, during office
hours by hand. No further application will be considered by this office after
the last date of submission (i.e. 14th June, 2024). Applications sent via
Post/E-mail shall not be accepted. Candidates are also requested to collect
their receipt of acknowledgement at the time of submission of their forms.

Candidates who appeared in NEET-UG-2024 ,and belong to the state of Assam
having PRC of Assam and who studied classes VII-XII from outside the state of
Assam and who are otherwise eligible as per clause 3(1)(c) of "The Medical
Colleges and Dental Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into 1st year
MBBS/BDS courses) Rules 2017 (Amended upto date), can now apply to this
Directorate in plain paper with valid documents to the office of the
undersigned (2nd floor, Room No. 5) on or before 14th June, 2024, during office
hours for inclusion of their names in the Assam State Merit List.
No
further application will be considered by this office after the last date of
submission (i.e. 14th June, 2024) during office hours. Applications sent via Post
shall not be accepted. Candidates are also requested to collect their receipt
of acknowledgement at the time of submission of their application.
